Themes of home, shelter, earth and sky, new horizons, and fire. If we explore the notion of shelter, as a form of protection, a gathering place, a home within natural
surroundings. Fire is the heart of gatherings, for light warming, cooling and meal preparation. Visible from up close and afar, the fire is the flame, the light, embers,
and smoke, all identify a gathering. Around the fire sharing stories, making, art, sound performance and more. Interpreting these elements in simplified form and material
structures.
